Start and Fallon were my first Egypt Mill wedding, a quirky venue in the charming Cotswold town of Nailsworth.
On the morning of the wedding I headed over to the Egypt Mill, where Fallon was getting ready. The bridal party were all very relaxed, enjoying their time getting ready together.
Taking a box containing the wedding rings, shoes and other jewellery, I ventured outside to create some pretty pictures. This was the morning where one of my favourite detail pictures was taken, which you can find on my blog.
There are plenty of quirky items around outside, which is perfect for creating some really pretty pictures of the jewellery. I tried different combinations, with the rustic barrels and twisted metal in the iron works.
When I was finished out in the garden, I went back to the bridal party as they continued to get ready. Due to a few morning dramas I ended up having to assist Fallon getting dressed, which does happen from time to time! Fallon was really calm and took everything in her stride on the morning of her wedding.
Fallon’s father seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress was a particularly special moment, which was lovely to be there to witness.
A little later I made my way downstairs to see Stuart and the guests as they began to arrive.
The room was ready for the wedding service and it looked so pretty! Little blue fairy lights on the low beamed ceiling make it look really special. They are also lovely for pictures in the service, creating little beads of light in the background.
After the service we got some lovely couples shots in the garden and then moved onto the group shots. Everyone was smiling and laughing as they enjoyed some drinks and delicious canapés.
The couple had a modest amount of guests, which made for a wonderfully relaxed and intimate wedding, with an injection of new faces later on in the evening.
I really enjoyed this Egypt Mill wedding, and am thrilled that I’ve been lucky enough to photograph further weddings at this stunning venue.
